Pre-Installation Requirements

The following requirements must be met before using this database connection method:

• EMS and all of its components must be installed.

• An EMS-specific Active Directory user account that is a member of the Active Directory security group outlined above is required. This account is used to configure the database authentication option for EMS web-based products, such as EMS Web App.
