Launch EMS

After you install EMS, a shortcut icon appears on your desktop. The application also appears in the Start menu. To launch EMS, double-click the desktop icon or select it from the Start menu.

For security reasons, after you sign in to EMS the first time, we recommend that you change the account password. You must create a new administrator account with a new username and password.

1. Do one of the following:

   • On your desktop, double-click the EMS icon.

   • From the Windows Start menu, click EMS.

     If you're the first person to sign in to EMS, a dialog opens.

     Enter the information for the login server and database used by your application.

2. In User ID and Password, enter admin.

3. Click OK.

   The Registration dialog opens if this is your organization's first time using EMS.

4. To register EMS, import the license file, that is, License.lic.
5. Click OK.
