To host and install EMS Mobile App, you will need the following:

- Direct Spaces License
- 1 Partner Integration License
For version 221.2 or higher
- Direct Spaces license
- Partner Integration Client is automatically available in Platform
Direct Spaces Authentication
iPhone iOS 14 supports default browsers for authentication via a new environment configuration. Contact your Professional Services or Support representative.
- Navigate to the EMS Platform Services URL. For example: https://Yourcompany.com/EmsPlatform/admin.
- Sign on to your account. See Configuring Platform Services in the Admin Portal for more details.
- On the sidebar, click the Integrations tab.
- Select the Partner Integration set up for your new mobile experience.
- Select the authentication method for everyday users. Direct Spaces supports these authentication methods:
Direct Spaces Deployment
Work with your EMS Professional Services team to deploy your new mobile experience. They’ll need the following:
- Platform Services URL
- Partner Integration details:
- ClientId
- Client Secret
- Authentication Method
Logo – 100 x 100 pixel image
Role – All Routes
Active flag = True
Allow Client to book without Everyday user Templates and ignore booking rules = False
Everyday User Authentication Required = False
User Authentication is Persistent = False
Everyday User Authentication Method = EMS Native or SAML depending on the authentication method of the client
- Test User Credentials

iPhone iOS 14 – Support for browsers other than Apple Safari, including Edge, Chrome, and Firefox. Contact EMS Professional Services or Support to make this change.
The app is available in the app store. It can also be deployed through a Mobile Device Manager (MDM).
Direct Spaces Version
You can check your Direct Spaces version number. If you installed a new release, you may have to refresh your assistant.
- Software versions are automatically updated on your device.
- Download client versions from the app store. You can find your client version in Profile Settings.
Find your Direct Spaces software version number:
- On the Home screen, on the lower right, long press your booking assistant.
A message displays with the version number.
- To close the message, tap Done.
