VPAT Accessibility Statement
Accruent is committed to ensuring that its enterprise products and services are accessible to people with disabilities.
We run VPAT audits on our products every 18 months and are constantly working towards making all our products fully compliant to W3C WAI’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, Level AA conformance. To report any issues or to request a VPAT on a product, contact the Accruent UX Team.
EMS Web App is run by Accruent. We want as many people as possible to be able to use EMS Web App.
To properly take advantage of EMS Web App, you should be able to:
-
change colors, contrast levels and fonts
-
zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
-
navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
-
listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
We’ve also made the UI text more user friendly than before.

• The pages don’t include a “skip to main content” link.

Cost analysis
The following accessibility issues currently exist in the EMS Web App:
-
missing alternative text
-
hidden elements in the tab order or placement of focus positions
-
at some points in the application, you can't access an element using the keyboard
-
you can't skip repeated content in the header
-
at some points in the application, if you resize the text it gets cut off on the screen
-
some elements don't meet the minimum color contract
-
some status messages can't be read by a screen reader
Currently, the gain from fixing these issues is not comparable to the cost that will be incurred. We will be re-visiting these tasks in the future.
